Improvise a fish BBQ over a beach bonfire

Written by Remi Mathieu on November 8th, 2019.      0 comments

Why is a coat hanger an indispensable tool in your dive kit?

I never really been short of cooking supplies during my trips but the thought of trying that little trick appeals to me quite a bit.
Who has never thought about being as cool as Bear Grylls, eating raw mud crab or like MacGyver turning an old tractor into a perfectly capable flying machine with only a Swiss army knife and some old rope...

Of course it's just day dreaming but still there are things that feel a bit like that and are pretty inventive! Cooking a fish over an open wood on the beach after a day of spearfishing, that's kinda cool :)

Well look no further, this little trick explained by a man full of common sense will help you achieve a lot with very minimal supplies and tools!

Need to boil some water for your crays, here are a couple of ways to do it, the second one allows you to adjust how close the pot is to the flame.

And if you've had an unlucky day and all you have left are the "safety" sausages, well you can still use your coat hanger :)
