LAKE TAUPO CATFISH CULL 2017

The annual Catfish Cull is one of the most laidback and fun competitions of the year.  Competed using polespears the idea is to shoot as many catfish as possible.
The catfish are a noxious pest and are in plague numbers around the Southern bays of the lake.
Given the fun nature of the competition and forgiving conditions the cull is the perfect intro to comp diving and is suitable for divers of all levels.  More...

WILD BLUE NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017

20th February 2017
Kapiti Island, Paraparaumu

One of the largest and best attended comps of the year is put on by the Kapiti Underwater Club at Kapiti Island.
It is a boat competition format and attracts divers of all levels from all over the country.

The champs boast the largest prize pool out of all the comps with generous spot prizes provided by Wild Blue and cash prizes put up by local companies.  More...
